Symposium Ethics and Value Challenges in Antibiotic Resistance Management, Policy and Research
The World Health Organization, WHO, identifies antibiotic resistance as a global challenge threatening human health and the fundamental achievements of modern medicine. Ethics and value conflicts are at the center of this challenge: both regarding slowing down resistance development and addressing problems due to resistance. These issues arise on all levels, from day-to-day healthcare to global politics.
This symposium is open to all interested in these issues, and presents internationally leading experts in the area from Australia, Canada, Germany, The Netherlands, Sweden, United Kingdom and the USA.
Location: Main Auditorium, University of Gothenburg
Participation is free of charge, but requires pre-registration. More information and an electronic registration form are available here: Ethics and Value Challenges in Antibiotic Resistance Management, Policy and Research – care.gu.se
