Metagenomics applied to surveillance of pathogens and antimicrobial resistance

Hands-on training including an eLearning course and a Workshop covering the use of metagenomics data in the design and optimization of efficient surveillance. It is highly recommended to complete the eLearning course before joining the Workshop.

Target Group

Professionals working at veterinary services, food safety authorities and reference laboratories as well as universities and competent authorities responsible for and involved in AMR surveillance.

To participate

Registration is free of charge but compulsory, up to 50 places available for the workshop, deadline for registration 10 February 2018.

EFFORT Partners under the lead of DTU are offering this training course on the use of metagenomics for AMR surveillance.

The online material will become available for the workshop participants from 19 February 2018. The workshop will be held in Estonia on 19-20 March 2018 (just before the annual SVEPM meeting).
