Joint congress of Veterinary Pathology and Veterinary Clinical Pathology, Arnhem

The joint congress of Veterinary Pathology and Veterinary Clinical Pathology will be held at Burgers’ Zoo in Arnhem, the Netherlands on 25-28 September 2019.

This year the European colleges and societies of these two disciplines joined forces to organize a meeting covering various aspects of our work as pathologists, covering topics from molecular research to effects of disease on wildlife conservation. One aim of this congress is to start or foster exchange between anatomic and clinical pathologists. Such interactions will pave the way for interesting discussions that hopefully will advance and further our disciplines. Although the venue calls for emphasis on zoo animals and wildlife, there will also be plenty of topics dealing with companion and farm animals as well as general topics related to pathogenesis, diagnosis and other aspects of pathology. There will be key-note lectures, oral presentations and a pre-meeting day (25 September 2019) specifically aimed at residents.
